About the Role

Ashurst, a leading global law firm, is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Vulnerability Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Cyber Security Operations team, you will play a critical role in coordinating and fulfilling requirements related to vulnerability management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Global Cyber Security Operations team to monitor, report, and provide guidance on vulnerability management and mandatory security requirements.
  • Coordinate communication and responses with global IT and security teams to ensure compliance with global security policies and standards.
  • Conduct regular scans to identify vulnerabilities across IT assets and provide vulnerability data to support security assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Stay updated on the latest threat intelligence and trends to provide relevant insights and support the development of effective security strategies.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), key risk indicators (KRIs), and service level agreements (SLAs) related to internal policy and mandatory security requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure timely patching and remediation efforts and conduct training and awareness sessions to enhance the security posture.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders, including wider IT, security, and business units.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable vulnerability scanning results.
Quantifying Asset Risk
  • Assess and quantify the risk associated with identified vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation efforts based on risk levels and potential impact.
  • Use risk assessment frameworks to guide decision-making processes and ensure effective risk management.
Wider BAU and Project Engagement

As a Cyber Security Vulnerability Analyst, you may be required to participate in various projects and initiatives, leveraging your expertise to drive business outcomes and enhance the security posture of the organization.

Process & Risk Management
  • Identify potential risks and dependencies, and take proactive measures to mitigate them, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and meeting stakeholder expectations.
Agile Delivery and Prioritization
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Agile delivery and prioritize tasks effectively, leveraging your experience in delivering BAU initiatives and small internal projects using Agile methodologies.
