Consultant Ophthalmologist Role
Ours is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Consultant Ophthalmologist with a special interest in medical retina. As a key member of our team at the West of England Eye Unit, you will join 16 experienced consultants who provide excellent clinical services, training, and innovation. You must have completed specialist training in ophthalmology and possess expertise in medical retina.

The successful applicant will contribute to the development of the Medical Retina Service, participate in service redesign, and engage in virtual POD clinics and general ophthalmology clinics, as well as cataract surgery.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop the Medical Retina Service, collaborating with our existing team of experts
  • Contribute to service redesign initiatives
  • PARTICIPATE IN VIRTUAL POD CLINICS AND GENERAL OPHTHALMOLOGY CLINICS
