About the Role

Morrison Water Services is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team in Swindon/Reading. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring Quantity Surveyors, working closely with operational teams, and administering bespoke Principal Contracts.

Main Responsibilities

  • Effective procurement and management of subcontractors
  • Managing and mentoring Quantity Surveyors/Assistant Quantity Surveyors
  • Working closely with operational teams
  • Administering bespoke Principal Contracts
  • Managing Change through the Early Warning and Variation Process
  • Value and Margin maximisation
  • Producing or supporting production of CVRs, applications for payment, and costs Forecasts

Requirements

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar qualification
  • Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar level in a civil engineering or utilities contractor
  • Commercial acumen
