Key Accountabilities:

  • Promote The Peninsula London as a premier culinary destination by delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
  • Produce all pastries required for the assigned section at the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Follow technical recipes and ensure consistency across all pastry offerings.
  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures, minimizing food waste while maintaining exceptional quality.
  • Responsible for kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety, supervising a team of Commis Chefs.

General Requirements:

  • Experience in British cuisine, familiar with current trends and classics.
  • Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant or luxury 5* hotel.
  • Culinary qualifications or certifications, with a desire to learn and improve.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, adaptability, and positivity.
  • Strong communication skills, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure.
