Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled LEV Equipment Technician Lead to join our team at Emcor UK. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and testing local exhaust ventilation systems in accordance with industry best practice, legislation, and GSK procedures.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all pharmaceutical ventilated enclosures to an approved standard, identifying anomalies and making adjustments as needed.
  • Carry out thorough examination and testing of LEV systems in line with industry standards and GSK procedures.
  • Perform repairs and assist contractors in their repair work.
  • Responsible for technical and engineering duties related to LEV equipment and facilities contract-wide.

Requirements:

  • Able to achieve high levels of operational performance.
  • Familiarity with LEV systems, safety cabinets, fume cupboards, ventilated enclosures, and other systems on site.
  • Demonstrate good understanding of current standards and testing methods related to LEV systems.
  • Produce suitable records of examination and testing results as required by regulatory guidance and codes of practice.
  • Establish operating criteria for continued performance in circumstances where a system has not been properly commissioned.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is experienced in working with LEV systems and has a strong understanding of industry best practices and regulations. If you have excellent problem-solving skills and are able to work independently, we would like to hear from you.
