Job Overview

This position involves taking on various assignments and ensuring the completion of year-end accounts, VAT returns, personal, and business tax compliance work. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting software, including Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare financial statements for companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
  2. Complete self-assessment tax returns.
  3. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to both the firm and clients.
  4. Maintain quality assurance procedures and prioritize excellent client care.
  5. Engage in relevant professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
  1. ACA or ACCA qualification desirable but not essential.
  2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
  3. Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
  4. Experience with accounting software and financial reporting systems.
  5. Prior experience with payroll systems would be advantageous.
Benefits:
