About the Job

This senior buyer position requires a strategic thinker who can drive cost savings and improve supplier relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement, with experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or distribution environment. They should also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to meet business needs.
  • Negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms.
  • Managing supplier relationships to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and implementing process improvements.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve quality and commercial issues.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, plus benefits including eligibility for our company bonus scheme, medicash scheme, pension scheme, and employee discount scheme.
