About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Vision for Education - Brighton as a Teacher of Special Educational Needs. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to work with students aged 3-19 years with neurological motor impairment such as Cerebral Palsy and associated medical and sensory needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and support students with Special Educational Needs in a small class size setting
  • Work collaboratively with the school's established team to provide a nurturing, educational, and therapeutic environment
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to cater to the unique needs of each student
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support system
Requirements
  • QTS/QTLS qualification
  • Experience working with primary or secondary school-aged children
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
  • Passion for the progress of SEND students
  • Ability to work as part of a team
