We are seeking a dedicated Adult Care Assistant to join our team at Go:Be Search Ltd in Coatbridge, Scotland. As a key member of the care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and support.


The ideal candidate will have a valid SVQ2 (or be working towards it) and experience of delivering person-centred care to residents within a care home setting. They will also possess excellent communication and organisational skills, which are essential for success in this role.



  • Full-Time Shifts: 44 or 33 hours per week

About the Job:

This role involves working as part of a dynamic care team to deliver high-quality care to residents in a care home setting. The successful candidate will work closely with other team members to ensure that residents receive the best possible care.



  • Promote residents' independence and autonomy
  • Organise activities to engage residents and promote social interaction
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, as well as clearing up afterwards
  • Provide support to healthcare professionals when required
  • Report any changes in residents' condition to the nurse on duty
  • Ensure resident property and belongings are cared for and maintained
  • Maintain equipment and report defects to managers
  • Accompany residents to external activities and events
  • Provide personal care support to residents
  • Clean spills using proper equipment and maintain a clean environment
  • Perform other duties as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the care home

Requirements:

  • Valid SVQ2 (or working towards) in Health and Social Care
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Possess a passion for delivering high-quality care and making a difference in people's lives
