As a key member of our Computing Centre department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a self-managed Kubernetes platform, provisioning and maintaining cloud services, and ensuring efficient monitoring and backup processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup, operation, and further development of a self-managed Kubernetes platform
  • Provisioning and maintenance of cloud services
  • Maintenance of operating systems, container images, and associated automation scripts
  • Operational support, troubleshooting, and error analysis
  • Ensuring efficient monitoring and backup processes
  • Coordinating external companies and service providers
  • Designing and optimizing necessary processes
Requirements:
  • Successfully completed technical master's degree with a focus on computer science
  • Independent setup, operation, and maintenance of the cloud system (patching, updating, monitoring), ideally with Rancher, Kubernetes, and Longhorn
  • Experience with various architecture and operating concepts of modern infrastructure solutions
  • Sound knowledge of scripting (Python, PowerShell) and containerization of servers and services (Docker and Kubernetes)
  • Ability to carry out troubleshooting and error correction measures
  • Basic security mindset (data protection, proxy server, API gateways)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (AzureDevOps, Gitlab, GitHub)
