Cloud Security Architect in Financial Stability

The Deutsche Bundesbank is a unique institution within the European System of Central Banks, playing a vital role in maintaining financial stability, banking supervision, and monetary policy in Germany. Our primary function is to create a stable euro and other central bank tasks, making us a key player in the global financial landscape. We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our team at the Cloud Center of Excellence, where you will be responsible for setting the guidelines for the development and use of our hybrid cloud platform. As a member of our governance team, you will create overarching security concepts and regulations for the secure use of our cloud platform, representing these to cloud projects and monitoring their implementation. Your expertise in IT security, cloud standards, and governance will be essential in ensuring efficient and standardized IT security frameworks, processes, and services for cloud use. You will also be responsible for establishing, further developing, and ensuring compliance with IT security measures for the cloud platform, as well as advising cloud projects on the correct implementation of security requirements and risk management. In close cooperation with other IT security units, you will work on risk assessment, handling IT security incidents, and compliance management. To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant subject and very good knowledge of IT security, cloud standards, and governance. You will also require practical experience in the field of IT security, especially in areas such as IT security standards, data protection, and network security. Additionally, you should have good knowledge of BSI regulations, ISO 27001, CSA CCM, CIS benchmarks, and the GDPR.
