Job Description
">The Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team is seeking a highly skilled Composite Laminator to join our team on the early/late shift. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and innovative team that designs, develops, manufactures, and races cars at the highest level.
">About the Role
">As a Composite Laminator, you will be responsible for laminating and bagging semi / structural composite components to meet production targets. You will work closely with the Team Leaders to ensure all tasks are completed promptly and in line with Health and Safety requirements.
">Key Responsibilities
">Some of your key responsibilities will include:
">- ">
- Laminating and bagging semi / structural composite components to meet production targets">
- Supporting Team Leaders in their roles as required">
- Maintaining good quality of components throughout production">
- Working safely and liaising with Team Leaders to ensure all tasks are completed promptly and in line with Health and Safety requirements">
- Identifying potential problems in manufacture to minimise delays/errors">
- Flexibility in deployment throughout the composite department">
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the clean room and associated work areas using TPM">
- Ensuring SAP and time recording bookings are accurate and taking corrective actions when necessary">
Requirements
">To succeed as a Composite Laminator, you will need:
">Essential Qualifications and Experience:
">- ">
- A strong technical background in composite laminating, ideally with Virtek laser experience">
- SAP experience">
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal">
- An ability to lead by example, demonstrating our PRIDE values (Passion, Respect, Innovation, Determination & Excellence)">
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and think quickly">
- An ability to interpret drawings, technical specifications, and product control documentation">
Salary and Benefits
">We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including private medical cover, life assurance, and 25 days holiday. We also pride ourselves on our family-friendly environment and employee well-being programme.
