Job Title: Senior Data Engineer - Data Platform Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to lead our data platform team. The successful candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data platforms using cloud-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data pipelines using Apache Kafka, Python, and Databricks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Lead the development of data platforms using cloud-based technologies such as AWS
  • Ensure data quality, security, and governance
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka, Python, and Databricks
  • Experience with AWS cloud platform architecture
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
