Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team as an Assistant Tax Manager. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity to support our Group Tax Manager with tax compliance and tax reporting projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare UK Corporation Tax returns and assist the Group Tax Manager in preparing UK research and development tax credit claims
- Work with external advisors to prepare overseas Corporate Tax returns
- Prepare the quarterly tax provision, including return to provision true-ups
- Update forecasts of cash tax payments needing to be made and ensure timely payments
- Assist the Group Tax Manager with responses to tax authority audits
- Prepare and maintain transfer pricing documentation
- Stay up-to-date with tax developments in our operating territories and advise on issues impacting the business
- Support the Group Tax Manager and Director of Tax on ad-hoc projects
Requirements
You will be at least ATT qualified or working towards a recognized accountancy or tax qualification, with experience in UK Corporation Tax. You should be comfortable using ERP systems, such as Oracle, and be able to work efficiently as part of a team and on your own initiative. We are looking for someone with an enquiring mind, able to identify problems and propose solutions, and a passion for continuous improvement.
