Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Aviation Equipment Mechanic to join our team at CDM Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of aircraft ground support equipment, ensuring it operates in peak condition. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to perform complex repairs under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on aircraft ground support equipment, including daily inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair defects on GSE and HGV equipment, working closely with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure all work meets the highest standards.
  • Complete job cards and inspection sheets accurately, submitting them to the Workshop Supervisor at the end of each shift.

Requirements:
  • Motor Mechanics – LGV qualification.
  • City & Guilds Level 3 in motor mechanics.
  • Forklift certification (desirable).
  • Operational vehicle/logistical experience.
  • Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
  • Previous experience in vehicle maintenance is essential.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
