Job Description:

As a Quantity Surveyor within Kier Transportation's Rail business, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting commercial operations on exciting and challenging rail projects in the Greater Manchester region.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to join our team of experts and contribute to the success of our rail infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the commercial team in securing maximum value from contracts and managing subcontractors.
  2. Compile monthly application for payment to clients and track certification.
  3. Prepare regional CV and forecast reports.
  4. Compile and agree financial effects of variations.
  5. Prepare project-specific commercial issues for reporting and presentation at client meetings.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience in the rail, construction, or civils industry.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
