Job Summary

As a seasoned professional in drainage design, we are seeking an experienced Highway Infrastructure Manager to lead our Transportation team at Kier Group's Design Office based in Manchester. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects, leveraging expertise in highways drainage, water utilities, and Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) matters.

Responsibilities
As a Highway Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and empowering a team of skilled professionals to successfully deliver a portfolio of projects. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
  • Developing fee estimates and programmes from client briefing statements.
  • Leading the team through technically challenging projects and/or solutions.
  • Ensuring latest design standards and lessons learnt are applied to projects and risk management undertaken in relation to project delivery.

Requirements
We are looking for a Chartered/Incorporated Engineer with a Civil Engineering degree or a similar combination of qualifications and experience. Experience in a similar role and successfully leading teams is essential, as well as a project management qualification and/or experience.
