About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Home Support Worker to join our team in West Lothian, Scotland. As a Care Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable adults in a range of settings, including Mental Health, Substance Misuse, Autism, Elderly Mental Health, Physical and/or Learning Disabilities services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support service users with diverse backgrounds and support requirements
  • Display emotional resilience to support service users with challenging behaviour and loneliness
  • Work to a flexible schedule, including nightshifts, weekends, and bank holidays
  • Administer medication, change dressings, and prepare basic meals
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a care setting with adults
  • Flexibility in the roles undertaken
  • Registration under the PVG scheme
  • Full driving licence (essential)
  • Obtained SVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent (desirable)
