Job Requirements

We are seeking a Data Scientist with a strong interest in climate to support our climate product suite. Our climate offerings include our flagship ITR score, emissions estimation models, and other related climate analytics offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Define product requirements for climate offerings in collaboration with the Product Specialist and Product Manager.
  • Become an owner of our existing climate methodologies and models, ensuring they remain state-of-the-art.
  • Develop methodologies and models for new climate offerings.
  • Serve as climate methodology and models expert to the sales team in technical presentations and to the technology teams during productionalization.
  • Support the testing and validation phases of climate products.
  • Support the launch of climate products.
  • Serve as an expert who knows the latest trends in climate to support the Product Specialist in identifying new market opportunities.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL.
  • Good knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning and strong methodology background.
  • Expertise in climate analytics or background in a related field with strong interest in climate.
  • Fast learner with the ability to work on projects independently.
  • Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask, and work well under pressure.
  • Natural tendency to be curious, positive, and creative.
  • Team player who collaborates well with others.
