Clinical Support Team Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Clinical Support Team Assistant to join our team at the NHS. As a key member of our front-line staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our clinicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process personal, telephone, and e-requests for appointments efficiently and effectively.
  2. Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with the caller's request appropriately.
  3. Clinically code data on Systm1 accurately and reliably.
  4. Data entry of new and temporary registrations and relevant patient information as required.
  5. Input data into patients' healthcare records as necessary.
  6. Maintain the reception area and notice boards to high standards.
  7. Complete opening and closing procedures in accordance with the duty rota.
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including pension scheme, life insurance, and generous annual leave.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and concepts.
