About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in a Year 1 class at an Outstanding primary school in Haringey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual support to the pupil, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Assist the class teacher in planning and preparing lessons, ensuring the pupil's needs are met.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the pupil, their family, and other school staff.
Person Specification
  • Previous experience working with children with ASC or other special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
