Job Title: Construction Project Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Supervisor to join our team in Aylesbury. As a key member of our Transportation Division, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of highway improvement and maintenance schemes. Your experience should demonstrate previous supervisory skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet agreed standards and stakeholder requirements.
  • Support project managers and teams in delivering projects using key project management principles, including risk management and quality control.
  • Coordinate resources to achieve successful delivery, ensuring AtkinsRéalis quality of work is maintained and balanced against client requirements.
  • Identify and document specific actions, including work streams, to produce project deliverables.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • A degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
  • Alternatively, experience of project management ideally across transportation schemes.


Essential Criteria:

  • Appropriate previous experience of working in this field.


Desirable Criteria:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to report financial and progress information to client audience.
  • Ability to assess and resolve site planning and coordination issues.
  • Apply risk assessment and management principles and processes.
  • Network effectively, negotiate well, and influence people, broker relationships with stakeholders within and outside the project.
