Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Workpack Engineer to join our team at Hinkley Point C. As a key member of the construction team, you will be responsible for drafting the HVAC engineering aspects of construction workpacks. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of HVAC activities within construction workpacks in adherence to project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop detailed construction Workpack LADs for HVAC systems.
Ensure Workpacks encompass comprehensive information, including drawings, specifications, procedures, plans, permits, and method statements necessary for the successful execution of HVAC construction.
Provide technical expertise in HVAC engineering, drafting Construction Workpack documents to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.
Address and resolve any HVAC engineering challenges encountered during construction which arise from the Construction Workpack.

Requirements:

Degree in HVAC Engineering or a related field. Preferably discipline time served with minimum trade qualifications.
Demonstrable experience in drafting Construction Workpacks.
Familiarity with industry-specific terminology and standards.
Extensive experience in HVAC engineering, with a focus on construction projects.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, codes, and standards.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Confident use of Navisworks.
Confident use of IT and MS Office Software.
