Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Kier Group, working on the IMT/Ericsson Contract within the Digital Solutions department. This is a permanent, full-time position based in the North, covering the M6 corridor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical tests and inspections, undertaking fault diagnosis, and carrying out repairs and maintenance on the telecommunication infrastructure. This will involve working door-to-door, encouraging agile working and visiting remote locations to ensure the network has 24/7 support.

The ideal candidate will have previous electrical experience, a 2365 Level 2 and 3 Diploma, and a can-do attitude. They will also possess a full driver's license and be willing to participate in our emergency standby/call rota.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical tests and inspections, and undertake fault diagnosis
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on the telecommunication infrastructure
  • Assist with the PPM team, including climbing work heights and general maintenance
  • Contribute to coaching and mentoring programs to support emerging talent
  • Participate in our emergency standby/call rota

Requirements:

  • Previous electrical experience and a 2365 Level 2 and 3 Diploma
  • Full driver's license
  • Can-do attitude and willingness to participate in emergency standby/call rota
