About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a South West Energy Strategic Planning Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of energy planning in the South West region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement regional energy planning strategies to meet the needs of the South West region.
  • Lead and manage a team of energy planning professionals to deliver high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities, energy distribution companies, and other industry partners.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on energy planning and strategy to support the development of the National Energy System Operator (NESO).
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in energy planning and strategy. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. You will also have a strong understanding of the energy sector and the ability to analyze complex data and information.
