About the Role

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Biggin Hill Service Center. As a key member of our maintenance organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to Maintenance Procedures: Comply with Bombardier's Maintenance Organization Procedures, including the relevant parts of the MOE and applicable work instructions.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Perform all work in a safe and timely manner, adhering to Environmental / Health / Safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform Maintenance Tasks: Carry out maintenance tasks to the standard specified in the Maintenance Data under supervision of Certifying Staff/Support Staff, and notify supervisors of defects or mistakes requiring rectification.
  • Identify and Rectify Defects: Identify defective aircraft components using the Company's Internal Procedure, and correct defects under supervision of Certifying Staff/Support Staff.
  • Process Removed Parts: Properly process removed, uninstalled and rejected parts.
  • Perform Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring to uphold Bombardier values.
Requirements
  • Recent Experience: Ability to demonstrate recent experience in a line maintenance environment, ideally within the last 3 years and for a minimum period of 6 months.
  • Business Aircraft Experience: Recent experience working on business aircraft.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Ideally, hold an A License, and basic understanding of the requirements of Appendix I to Part-66.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Good knowledge of Part-145, knowledge on EWIS and CDCCL when relevant, knowledge and practice of human factors, human performance and limitations, ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings, ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual task status, ability to use standard tools, special tools and to operate ground support equipment, ability to identify and rectify existing and potential unsafe conditions, experience understanding critical tasks, basic PC skills, and must hold a valid UK Driving License as this role will require you to drive airside.
