Travelers is seeking a highly skilled Senior Casualty Claim Professional/Adjuster to join our team in London or Redhill. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for handling complex and large casualty losses, providing expert claim handling, and collaborating with underwriters and actuaries to mitigate risks and exposures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and handle a diverse portfolio of complex and often large claims arising from designated lines of business.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and actuarial partners on portfolio, risk mitigation, policy language, and claim trends.
  • Open new claims, set reserves, and carry out early investigations in respect of policy coverage, liability, and quantum.
  • Negotiate settlement of claims and communicate promptly on cover.
  • Reserve claims accurately in accordance with company guidelines and best practices, ensuring that company service standards are upheld and data accuracy is maintained.
  • Monitor vendor performance, cost, and quality to ensure market-leading, cost-effective service to both insured and the company.
  • Provide market-leading claim service, working closely with the claim management team and broader business to deliver and enhance the claim offering.
  • Maintain a close collaborative working relationship with underwriters, actuaries, and risk management, promoting the interests of Travelers and working with other business areas as needed.
  • Participate in individual and shared project work, providing support to other team members as required.
  • Partner with underwriting to sell and market business and strengthen external client relationships.
  • Attend claim review and customer service-related meetings with insured and brokers, promoting the values of the department and company, and the market-leading claim services provided.
