Educational Support Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives as a Behavioural Support Mentor. You will be working with pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and require support with challenging behaviour.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized support to pupils with SEN
- Implementing strategies to manage and reduce challenging behaviour in a proactive and consistent manner
- Supervising pupils during breaks and lunchtimes as required
- Fostering positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to create a supportive learning environment
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- An Enhanced DBS check (ideally on the Update Service)
- A strong ability to build rapport with pupils and staff
- Experience in classroom support (though not essential)
- High levels of enthusiasm, energy, and positivity when working with pupils
- A genuine passion for helping young people reach their full potential
The salary for this position is £22,500 - £25,000 per annum, based on experience.
