Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate educational support professional to support educators in providing a nurturing and effective learning environment for students. Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of individual students.
  • Provide one-on-one tutoring and support to students who require additional assistance.
  • Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging student participation and engagement.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators to discuss student progress and any concerns.
  • Support children with special educational needs by implementing tailored strategies that promote their learning and development.
  • Help maintain a safe and organised classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to mentoring and educating children.


Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting, is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
  • Experience or training in special education or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly desirable.
  • A passion for mentoring and educating young learners, fostering their academic growth and personal development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
  • Patient, empathetic, and has a positive attitude towards supporting diverse learning needs.
