Exciting Opportunity in Same Day Emergency Care

An exceptional chance has arisen for a skilled Staff Nurse to join our dynamic Same Day Emergency Care Unit (SDEC) at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust.

The SDEC area is co-located within the Integrated Acute Assessment Unit, working closely together. As a successful candidate, you will be well-supported, with a tailored training package to suit your individual learning needs. You will acquire a broad range of extended skills, including venepuncture, cannulation, and catheterisation, while being part of a well-led and organised team.

The role offers a unique opportunity to develop your nursing career, with access to consultants, specialty doctors, and specialist nurses. We expect you to be positive, enthusiastic, and passionate about delivering the 6C's of nursing. The salary for this position is approximately £28,000 - £34,000 per annum.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work across both the SDEC and Integrated Acute Assessment Unit areas.
  • Develop extended skills in venepuncture, cannulation, and catheterisation.
  • Collaborate with consultants, specialty doctors, and specialist nurses to enhance patient care.
