Job Summary

The WCS Group is seeking an experienced Bid Coordinator to join our sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the bid and tender process across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive bid and tender strategy to drive business growth.
  • Manage the bid and tender writing process, ensuring high-quality responses to tender and proposal opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to execute effective writing of concise and compelling content.
  • Review tender portals and online searches to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain and improve a comprehensive content library to support bid and tender activities.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to establish pricing models and support bid/no bid decisions.
  • Ensure tenders are completed and submitted to deadlines, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in bid and tender management, with a strong understanding of the bid and tender process.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong knowledge of business development principles and practices.
