We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Duty Team at Wigan Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert assessment and interventions to families who require our support.

As a Social Worker on our Duty Team, you will work closely with colleagues from other areas of Children's Services to deliver high-quality social work practice. You will have the opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of cases, including child protection, care planning, and family support.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and families. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, families, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
