About the Role

We are seeking a calm, caring, and resilient Female Support Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Complex Needs Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing direct support to individuals with complex needs, promoting independence, and developing life skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily activities such as personal care, laundry, meal preparation, medication administration, and ensuring a clean-living environment.
  • Get to know the individuals you will care for and help them to live the life they want to live.
  • Take personal responsibility for the quality of care and assistance delivered.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of the individuals you will take care of.
  • Help individuals plan towards and achieve both short and long-term aims.
  • Assist individuals to manage their personal affairs, making, preparing for, and attending appointments.
  • Ensure individuals and their families are treated with respect, dignity, and equality.
Requirements
  • Calm, patient, and resilient individual with a consistent approach to assisting individuals with complex needs.
  • Driver with a manual UK license and willingness to drive an alternative vehicle.
  • Ability to work on a shift rota basis, with flexibility required.
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs and behaviors that can challenge.
  • Resilient, open-minded, and non-judgmental individual with a sense of humor.
