Requirements for the Class 1 Casual Tramper Driver position:
Collecting and delivering customer products on a curtain-sided trailer, ensuring load security using ratchet straps.Delivering loads throughout the UK, including full and groupage loads.Utilizing a handheld PDA to complete paperwork.Interacting with customers face-to-face and over the phone.Maintaining regular contact with the transport team for updates and managing customer expectations.This role may involve nights away and occasional travel to a different depot, with expenses covered.Attending regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.Essential skills for the Class 1 Casual Tramper Driver:
Must hold a valid UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.Experience in delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.Passionate about providing excellent customer service.Ability to work to deadlines.Confident, polite, and a team player.Good geographical knowledge.Fitness, flexibility, hard work, and self-motivation are essential for this role.Benefits of working with Gregory Distribution:
