Job Summary

We are seeking two enthusiastic individuals to join our Medical Staffing Team in a busy department. As a Medical Staffing Specialist, you will provide a proactive medical HR service for Postgraduate Doctors in Training, maintaining the management of rotational processes and advising on all aspects of the Doctors and Dentists in Training Terms & Conditions of Service and Trust policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a high-quality specialist advice service for all Medical trainees, clinical leads/educators in the Trust, and work closely with NHS England Wessex on the provision of training rotations for HHFT.
  • Maintain standards in line with Trust and NHS England Wessex policies under the guidance of NHS Employers Code of Practice.
  • Provide a reliable and well-informed service to trainees and managers, and provide advice on, and interpretation of, all Medical & Dental Terms and Conditions, practices, and procedures.
  • Deliver a timely, accurate, and customer-focused service.
About the Role

This role is only open to applicants who currently work within an NHS Trust within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System (HIOW ICS). You will be responsible for the timely and accurate data entry onto the electronic staff record system, liaising with payroll to ensure doctors are paid on time and that an efficient service is provided.

Good interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task, work to deadlines, and attention to detail are essential. A flexible approach is required, which includes working across both Basingstoke and Winchester sites.
