Job Summary

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is recruiting for a Contracts Administration Specialist to join our team. This role will provide operational management and support to the Division in the way of a smooth and efficient contract provision at South Bristol Community Hospital, St James Court, Centralised Contracts provision and Systems support service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Contracts and Systems Manager in fielding and escalating enquiries from external and internal parties
  • Support the Contracts and Systems Manager and the Facilities Team in the operational day-to-day running of operational and centralised contracts, systems and administration service
  • Assist the Contracts and Systems Manager in managing Health & Safety, updating Risk Assessments, undertaking Risk Assessments and supporting with completion of RIDDOR investigations
  • Provide business support out of hours where necessary - the post holder may be required to support weekend unavailability

Key Requirements:
  • Degree-educated to GCSE level or equivalent experience in a service industry
  • Knowledge of business analysis of performance information and working within a range of targets
  • Experience of project working and familiar with audit and monitoring processes
  • Ability to plan and organise activities and programmes which are complex
  • Understanding of information governance rules and managing dealings with confidential information to comply with Data Protection Act and local Trust policies at all times

Salary: £28,239 - £34,955 per annum (£30,472 average salary). The estimated salary range reflects the requirements of the job description and location.
