Senior Social Worker

We are currently seeking dedicated Senior Social Workers to join our Children Looked After Team in Surrey. This is an incredible opportunity to make a lasting impact by supporting children living with relatives, foster families, prospective adopters, and in semi-independent living arrangements.
About the RoleAs a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for safeguarding these children, nurturing their development, and helping them transition to independence. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Regular visits and assessments to build strong, lasting relationships with children in care
- Developing and reviewing Care Plans, championing children's voices in all aspects of their journey
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, including health services, CAMHS, Independent Reviewing Officers, and family support workers
- Participating in reflective supervision and professional development sessions to enhance your skills and support your career growth

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Social Work England Registration
- Experience with children looked after, particularly in safeguarding, care planning, and relationship-building
- A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel across Surrey
Estimated salary: £46,399 - £49,588 per annum, plus financial package up to £6,000 (paid over first 18 months).
