Senior Aviation Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Aviation Engineer to join our team. This exciting opportunity will involve working on a range of challenging projects, developing actuation and landing gear sub-systems, and collaborating with key suppliers to deliver innovative solutions.

About the Project
  • You will be responsible for supporting new Falconworks programs with your expertise in actuation and landing gear specialist domains.
  • Developing and delivering high-quality engineering solutions that meet the required standards and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
  • To align and maintain product design/development approaches across multiple projects.
  • To create and manage platform-level requirements, ensuring they are met and exceeded.
  • To configure and control design artefacts through the design release process.
  • To manage deviations, waivers, WQNs, and SPRs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • To collate evidence for product release, including Statements of Design and Certification of Design.
  • To interface with various stakeholders, including CEM, System Delivery Units, and Air Functions for Integration activities.
  • To work closely with other teams, including PEMs/PTMs for Engineering effort delivery.
Requirements
  • Candidates must possess the ability to obtain a UK MOD Security Clearance to SC level.
  • The company will provide sponsorship for new applications, enabling you to start while your clearance is being processed.
  • This position operates within the guidelines of IR35.
Additional Information

Note: A competitive salary of £52.78 per hour (Umbrella) or £45.82 per hour (PAYE basic), plus holiday pay, will be offered to the successful candidate.
