Palliative Care Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Palliative Care Specialist to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a Palliative Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, accessible palliative care services to patients and their families living with life-limiting diseases.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have significant post-registration experience in a relevant specialty and be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. They will also have advanced communication skills, the ability to work both within a team and autonomously, and effective time management and organisational skills.
Requirements
- 1st Level Registered General Nurse
- Post-registration qualification in a relevant area or knowledge gained through equivalent experience
- Relevant First Degree or working towards, or knowledge gained through equivalent experience
- Evidence of continued professional development
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Non-Medical Independent Prescriber
- Teaching qualification or knowledge gained through relevant experience
- Experience in palliative care settings
- Teaching skills and experience
