Weaver Vale Housing Trust is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager with significant social housing experience to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with approximately one day per week spent in the Northwich office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial advice and support to the Trust, delivering a comprehensive financial accounting and treasury service. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring loan covenant compliance and Trust Golden Rules in management accounts, financial statements, and business plans.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with banks and funders to enable effective management of the Trust's treasury management function.
- Reviewing loan portfolio and covenant suite to ensure it supports the Treasury aims of the Trust.
- Cash flow, balance sheet, treasury planning, forecasting, reporting, and covenant compliance for the Trust's 30-year Business Plan.
- Coordination and quality assurance of regulatory returns for the Finance Team.
- Management and leadership of the Trust's Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- CCAB/CIMA qualified Finance professional with evidence of continuing personal development.
- Proven business partnering approach with a track record of developing influential working relationships at strategic level.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage high-performing Finance teams.
