About the Role

The Management Accountant has a global remit, supporting the Financial Controller and Finance Director in maintaining financial oversight of the consolidated DPMS entity for reporting, forecasting, and budgeting purposes. This role is critical in ensuring that strong financial controls are embedded within the business and supports the DM&S governance framework, enabling the business to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in financial planning and analysis processes, including forecast and budget processes for sites and at the consolidated DPMS entity level.
  • Perform month-end closing processes for group functions, including generating accruals/prepayments and reviewing sites' P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Produce and understand the consolidated DPMS financial position, taking responsibility for monthly reporting into group finance and providing insightful commentary on performance and future actions required.
  • Work with business leaders across the DPMS business to understand their financial performance and help them with financial planning and control.
  • Hold regular meetings with budget holders to understand current and influence future performance.
  • Improve the accuracy of standard costing and efficiency measures related to standards, support yearly standard costing pricing (and transfer pricing) and cost pricing for new products.
  • Develop reports to monitor monthly KPIs for manufacturing and financial control.
  • Develop business cases for investments, capital expenditure, and other projects, while supporting overarching governance processes.
  • Perform balance sheet reviews of sites and advise on financial control.
About You

We are looking for an individual with a business economics or finance degree (master or bachelor) or equivalent experience/Part qualified accountant studying toward CIMA or ACCA. The ideal candidate should have advanced Hyperion and HFM skills, be a process thinker, and possess strong teamwork and collaboration skills on an international level. Previous relevant working experience in a business control position within a manufacturing organization is essential, as well as significant experience with financial analysis and reporting on KPIs.

What We Offer

As a global company, we offer a competitive salary range £45,000 - £65,000 depending on location and experience. In addition, occasional global travel may be required for this role.
