Job Title: Internal Control Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Internal Control Specialist to join our team at DFS Furniture Ltd. As our new internal control advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective operation of our internal controls system.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in risk management and a proven track record of implementing effective internal controls. You will be responsible for ensuring that our internal controls system is operating effectively, producing valid data, and aligned with our organisational structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective internal controls to mitigate risks
  • Maintain and report on internal controls data
  • Collaborate with assurance teams to validate internal controls
  • Produce regular reports on internal controls performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in risk management and internal controls
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
