Maintenance Worker - Construction Worker

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team at RAF Lakenheath, 48th Civil Engineer Squadron. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in level sheet metal mechanic, carpentry, and masonry work.


The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, maintaining, repairing, and modifying buildings and other structures within the RAF Lakenheath base. We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around £35,000-£45,000 based on industry standards and the required skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks on buildings and structures using various techniques and materials.
  • Install new equipment and fixtures as needed.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., construction management, engineering).
  • Proven track record of working with level sheet metal mechanics, carpentry, and masonry.
