Facilities Maintenance Specialist

As a Plumber/Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) at Gov Facility Services Ltd, you will be responsible for providing plumbing and mechanical maintenance services to support the safe and secure operation of HMP Wayland. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, contributing to the rehabilitation and reintegration of prisoners into society.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine maintenance services to plumbing and mechanical systems to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly
- Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and experience in plumbing and mechanical engineering
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
