Job Title: Asset Integrity Engineer Graduate Scheme

Bureau Veritas is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Engineer to join our team as an Asset Integrity Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of asset integrity and certification.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide support to clients in the initial suitability and performance of their assets and installations, including design appraisal, examination, and assessment. This will involve working closely with senior engineers to ensure compliance with international codes and standards, as well as UK Safety Case Legislation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review and assess design documents, including detail drawings and design calculations, to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Identify and check safety-critical aspects of design using engineering software, such as MathCAD and ANSYS.
  • Prepare certification documents and provide clear technical reports to clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
  • Maintain personal competency and CPD records.
  • Contribute to the company's health and safety goals and environmental objectives.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering discipline or equivalent recognized experience.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of sound engineering practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings.
  • Proficiency in engineering software, such as ANSYS and MathCAD.
  • Strong communication and written skills.
