Job Title: Asset Integrity Engineer Graduate Scheme

Bureau Veritas is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join our team as an Asset Integrity Engineer. As a graduate in a mechanical or structural engineering discipline, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, developing your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and supportive environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will provide support to clients, ensuring the initial suitability and performance of their assets and installations. This will involve reviewing design documents, identifying safety critical aspects, and preparing certification documents. You will also be responsible for communicating with clients, both verbally and in writing, to ensure their requirements are met.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review design documents and material specifications to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Identify and check safety critical aspects of the design, using engineering software such as ANSYS.
  • Prepare certification documents and provide clear technical reports to clients.
  • Communicate with clients via email, phone, and in person to ensure their requirements are understood.
  • Keep personal competency and CPD records up to date.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering discipline or equivalent recognised experience.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of sound engineering practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings.
  • Ability to use ANSYS or equivalent engineering software.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
