Job Description: Workshop Engineering Lead

We are looking for an experienced Workshop Engineering Lead to join our team at Stagecoach Cumbernauld Depot. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our fleet, while also promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Your primary focus will be on controlling daily workshop loading, monitoring health and safety practices, and ensuring buses are in top condition for our customers. You will also be responsible for leading by example and promoting a culture of safety and efficiency among your team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies to meet business objectives
  • Collaborating with the Fleet Engineer to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure quality standards are met
  • Providing technical guidance and support to team members to resolve complex issues
