The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working within a fast-paced kitchen environment, ideally with experience in a similar setting such as a country estate or multi-outlet hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase the best of seasonal produce from the estate's walled gardens and local suppliers.
  • Work closely with the growers and livestock manager to create innovative dishes that highlight the estate's unique offerings.
  • Manage kitchen staff and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, HACCP protocols, and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the events team to develop bespoke dining experiences for guests, including fire feast cooking and nose-to-tail cuisine.
  • Contribute to the development of the estate's culinary vision and strategy, aligning with the company's goals and values.
Requirements

We are seeking an exceptional chef with:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a similar setting.
  • Proven expertise in menu development, kitchen management, and staff supervision.
  • Excellent knowledge of seasonal produce, local suppliers, and sustainable food practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
