Regional Sales Manager - Southern England

Our client is a leading UK manufacturer of construction products with a strong reputation and a track record of excellence in selling to end-users, councils, and local authority accounts, contractors, and specialist organizations.

With over 50 years of experience, they are one of the largest companies in their sector in the UK, offering a superb product range and exceptional customer service.

This role involves taking over from a long-established Area Sales Manager who has left an excellent region to manage and develop further.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Continually managing and developing existing accounts as well as bringing on board new business.
  • Developing excellent working relationships with decision-makers within the customer database.
  • Delivering product presentations to achieve sales.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of business-to-business sales experience, ideally gained in a product sales environment.

They should be able to work from home and spend time away from home on business, usually about one day every two weeks.

Experience of sales to public sector/local government or industrial/commercial accounts is essential.

Familiarity with selling products, understanding the features and benefits of products sold, and adapting sales techniques to secure business is also required.

Excellent administrative and organizational skills are necessary to enable a successful sales career working from home and managing a relatively large region.

A professional image and sales presence on behalf of the company are essential.
