Pediatric Palliative Care Nurse

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate pediatric nurse to join our team at Noah's Ark Children's Hospice. As a pediatric palliative care nurse, you will provide high-quality care to children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized care to children with complex medical needs in a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional and practical support to children and their families, promoting their overall well-being and quality of life.
- Participate in education and training programs to maintain and improve your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies and procedures that promote the best interests of children and their families.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and continuity of care.

Person Specification:
- Registered Sick Children's Nurse or Registered Nurse Child Branch.
- Relevant post-qualification experience at staff nurse band 5 level.
- Previous team nursing/management experience or experience of supporting students, junior staff nurses or support workers.
- Experience in leading a multiskilled workforce or team or evidence of leadership of a multiskilled workforce/team with support from lead nurse.
